Course Description
Course # 3, in the 4-part 'Project Management Basics', completes the 4-step methodology begun in Course #2. It teaches how to apply resources (i.e. people, equipment, and materials) to work a project. This course also shows how to document these assignments with a tool called the Responsibility Matrix. It reviews budget setting, expense control and defining authority and then focuses on starting and implementing any project. The course concludes with material on performance management and metrics. There are assignments for each lesson that help illustrate learning points and provide practice and feedback to you. There are also reference documents provided that become a takeaway for permanent reference.
